EverLoad text messages: how drivers opt in

Last updated: November 2, 2026

EverLoad LLC ("EverLoad") lets dump truck fleets send loads to drivers by text message instead of the EverLoad app. These texts are only about the driver's own work: load offers from their fleet, confirmations of their replies, receipts for ticket photos they send, and end-of-day notices. They never contain marketing.

1. The fleet asks the driver first (verbal consent)

Before adding a driver, the fleet's dispatcher or owner asks them in person or by phone. This script is shown in the EverLoad app on the Add member → Text driver screen:

"Our fleet uses EverLoad to send loads. Do you want to get your loads from EverLoad by text message at this number? You'll get load offers and updates for your own loads; how many depends on your work. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to stop, or HELP for help."

Only if the driver says yes does the fleet add their name and mobile number. EverLoad records which fleet member added them and when.

2. The driver confirms by text (double opt-in)

EverLoad then sends one message with the fleet's name, for example:

EverLoad: Tx mtz trucking wants to send you dump truck loads by text. Reply YES to join. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

No load messages are sent unless the driver replies YES (or SI). EverLoad stores that reply with its date and time. The driver then receives:

EverLoad: You're in. You'll get load offers and updates from your fleet by text. Text ON when you start work, OFF when you're done. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out.

3. Stopping and help

Reply STOP at any time to stop all texts; reply START to begin again. Reply HELP for the list of commands, or email hello@everload.app. Message frequency varies with the loads you are sent. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. Daily job updates for a fleet's customers

A fleet can offer a customer's contact (for example the superintendent on a job site) one text each morning about that job. The fleet asks the person first and only adds a number that asked for updates. EverLoad then sends one invitation, for example:

EverLoad: Cedar Ridge Hauling would like to text you a daily update for Hutto ISD Elementary, with a live link to its trucks and tickets. Reply YES to get them. About 1 msg/day. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

Nothing more is sent unless the person replies YES (or SI); EverLoad stores that reply with its date and time. STOP ends every update to that number, and the fleet can't invite it again.
